"Shining Through" is the feeling of God's presence, which brings hope amid the darkness and density of life.

The idea for this work arose after Sunday Liturgy at the Ukrainian Catholic University, when I walked through Stryiskyi Park, looked up at the sky through the leaves of the trees, and saw sunbeams filtering through the foliage in fragments.

These glimpses of light became for me a symbol of God's presence - quiet, unobtrusive, yet constant.

God is always near, yet His presence reveals itself not in noise, but in stillness, silence, and attentiveness.

"Shining Through" speaks of the moment when a person quiets themselves and, in that stillness, perceives the light of God's presence.
